The receiver was manufactured in 1912 the barrel was replaced at some time with the barrel that is on the rifle. The purchase price was $825. The rifle should sell for more when it is sold. I have purchased a correct stock for this rifle. I paid $225 for it. The stock is properly marked as an early Rock Island issue. This makes the rifle worth more on the collector market.
