The receiver was manufactured by Springfield and is identified by the drawing number D652891 followed by the number 43. This is located on the receiver leg. The International Harvester name and serial number were stamped on the receiver by Harvester in the postage stamp configuration. This rifle is correct with a proper stock, an LMR 1953 barrel, and correct internal parts. The l952 sling is period correct. This is a very rarer rifle.
