Winchester carbines are the third rarest of the manufacturers. The carbine is an early manufacture and has the correct parts for that period. It is correct in all ways including the stock. I purchased a correct Winchester stock off of E bay for $300. The handguard is a type 1, tapered, two rivet, and is marked W for Winchester. The slide and bolt are also marked W for Winchester as are the firing pin and extractor. The rifle is worth more than what I paid for it. At a gun show the asking price would be $2500 or more.
