The correct inspector initials FJA are present and stand for Frank J Atwood. The barrel is a properly marked High Standard which is correct for that gun. The P proof marks are stamped where they should be located. There is a flaming bomb under the firing pin stop as there should be. There is also RIA stamped on the left side of the frame indicating that the gun was either inspected or rebuilt by the Rock Island Arsenal. I found that the frame has been ground on by someone for some unknown reason. This does not show and should not substantially affect the value of the gun. I did not know about the grinding before I paid $2100 for the pistol.
