cal: .36, 6-shot, barrel: 7-3/8", serial number matching in four locations, sn: 90702, from Mr. Davis's records: I purchased this gun at the Louisville gun show in the early 60’s. It is an Iron framed U.S. marked Navy issue gun. It was one of a shipment of guns to the USS Saranac in Sept. 1859. Inspected by George Rogers. I paid $175 for the pistol. This is a rare pistol even though it has been refinished it is worth more than the average 1851. NOTE: no transfer fee applies Pre 1898
